By Daniele Rizzi | 24 Jan 2010

This week the Husqvarna SuperMoto and Enduro factory teams gathered in Cogne ski resort for some intensive training days on the Italian snow. The 2010 Husqvarna CH Racing SuperMoto line up made of Mauno Hermunen and Adrien Chareyre did attend to make the most of these days and prepare themselves for the forthcoming racing season.

With the 2010 FIM SuperMoto World Championship being made of just one class, three time World Champion Adrien Chareyre and Mauno Hermunen will finally be able to challenge each other as well as plenty of top riders.

It will be surely a hard fought season, with Thomas Chareyre having moved to TM, Ivan Lazzarini to continue with Honda as Davide Gozzini is to continue with TM, Eddy Seel remaining on Suzuki alongside Fabio Balducci.

French Adrien Chareyre and Finn Mauno Hermunen will start testing the works Husqvarna bikes SM 450RRs  from the forthcoming week in order to be ready at Grand Prix number one in Italy on the May 2 weekend. In the meantime they have fine tuned their physical condition through skiing, trekking and SPA treatments.

Husqvarna CH Racing Team Manager Fabrizio Azzalin explained: "Our target is to win the World Title in SuperMoto. We have all the necessary ingredients to reach that goal: skilled riders, performing bikes and a perfect structured team. Our group is now like a family, we have never been so in shape and compact as we are now."

"It will be a very important season for the Husqvarna brand - added Husqvarna Racing Activities Coordinator Martino Bianchi - we have presented new products and we have extremely important goals to achieve in SuperMoto, we are defending World Champions with the three World Titles conquered last year. Here in Cogne I have seen the urge to reach these results in the riders' eyes and their physical preparation is excellent. We will surely play a main role in the 2010 national and international championships."
