FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 4 May 2011 – The opening round of the 2011 FIM SuperMoto World Championship was a double success.

The GP of Italy registered not only a significant number of fans, who came to Busca to attend the first race of the year, but it was also featured by important share rates as the highlights of the thrilling challenges were enjoyed by many thanks to the worldwide tv coverage.

Sportitalia2 was the first broadcaster to transmit the most intense moments of the SuperMoto first round and audience had many chances to watch them as the highlights were broadcasted in three different days: Friday April 8th at 10.00pm, Saturday April 9th at 4.00pm and Sunday April 10th at 1.00pm.

Furthermore, this year SuperMoto enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to live again the most breathtaking moments of the World series through, the new live streaming and video on demand (VOD) platform.
